After losing in Sacramento last night, the Denver Nuggets came back home looking for a win against the Nets and that is exactly what they found.
Gary Harris put up 25 points, his new career high, along with 2 rebounds and one assist in his 27 minutes. Wilson Chandler had 24 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 dime. Danilo Gallinari trailed right behind Harris and Chandler with 20 points of his own, accompanied by 8 rebounds.
Mason Plumlee recorded his first double-double in a Nuggets uniform with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists.
After having a DNP last night in Sacramento, Emmanuel Mudiay returned to the court late in the fourth after dealing with back issues for the past few weeks.
Jeremy Lin rejoined the Nets tonight after missing 26 games due to a hamstring strain. Lin added 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 assists in his 15 minutes on the court tonight.
The Nuggets started off with a hot hand and led the Nets in the first, outscoring them 30-25. The Nuggets continued with their terrific offense and, once again, outscored Brooklyn 34-28. At the half, the Nuggets were up by 11. Going into the third, the Nuggets continued to stay hot and left the Nets in the dust as they continued outscoring them 37-22. Brooklyn had a strong fourth quarter and they outscored the Nuggets 34-28, but it wasn’t enough to take down the Nuggets. The Nuggets got the W over Brooklyn, 129-109.
With tonights win, the Nuggets go up one full game on the Kings and one and a half games over the Trail Blazers.
