Friday night, the Nuggets got a much needed win over the Brooklyn Nets, improving their record to 26-32.
Now, the Nuggets will be hosting the Memphis Grizzlies for our third and final meeting of the regular season. In our last two meetings, the Nuggets took losses–our first meeting, a 108-107 loss and then a 119-99 loss. The Nuggets are determined to go to the playoffs, so they need to fight for a full 48-minutes in order to get today’s win.
Our last meeting against Memphis was back on February 2nd, the Nuggets were torn apart by injury. Danilo Gallinari sustained a groin injury, Will Barton was out because of an ankle injury, Nikola Jokic was out due to a hip injury, Emmanuel Mudiay had returned on a minute restriction, and Jameer Nelson was ejected from the game in the first quarter.
In the February second meeting, the Nuggets started off cold and were never able to warm up. There were many fundamental errors and far too many turnovers (17, to be exact). Denver shot 40% from the field, 36% from 3-point land, and 74.3% from the free throw line. The Grizzlies were shooting 48.9% from the field, 46.7% from beyond the arc, and 75% from the charity stripe.
The Grizzlies have lost their last two games and are visiting the Mile High City after their most recent loss to Indiana on Friday night and are looking for a win.
The Nuggets currently sit a game and a half ahead of both Portland and Sacramento in the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference and still fully intend to make the playoffs this season.

Keys to Victory:
1. Against the Nets, Mason Plumlee played how the Nuggets envisioned him when the sent away Jusuf Nurkic. Need Plumlee to produce when Jokic comes off the floor.
2. Jokic vs Gasol. This will be an intriguing matchup, and whoever wins the matchup gives their team the best chance to win.
3. Contain Mike Conley. He earned that hefty contract in the offseason for a reason.
Kenneth Faried (back) questionable
No injured players
