In the second night of a back-to-back, the Nuggets were looking to even out the season series, 2-2, and that’s exactly what they were able to do in Sacramento tonight.
Gary Harris is the top SG in the NBA, shooting 49% and he is the one that led the Nuggets to their 105-92 win over the Kings in Sacramento. Harris had 24 points, 3 boards, and 2 assists. Nikola Jokic was the second leading scorer with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Although the Kings got close to taking control (and even got within 2), the Nuggets weren’t having that and they played the way that all games should be played–with desperation knowing that the 8th seed is on the line. Ultimately, the Nuggets were able to get a 13 point win in the Sunshine State. The Nuggets outscored the Kings in all but the third quarter, where the Kings went off to score 25-21.
With a Denver win and a Portland loss, the Nuggets are now two full games ahead of Portland and two and a half games ahead of Dallas.
