The Denver Nuggets failed to execute late and lost a tough game at the hands of Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
This game will sting for a week or two as the Denver Nuggets lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 95-94. The Nuggets started slow and had to play catchup the rest of the game, but later on lead by ten points with nine and a half remaining in the fourth quarter. With poor late game executions, the Thunder were able to get the ball back quickly and caught back up effortlessly behind Russell Westbrook’s unstoppable drives. As disappointing as the finish was, tonight’s game was quite a thriller.
Tonight was Torrey Craig’s night and everyone was all about it. Craig was quick and effecient on both sides of the court tonight with good defense and stellar offense. Craig was perfect from the floor hitting all three of his threes and racked up 14 points total along with an assist, two rebounds, a block, and a steal. Great things are coming this kid’s way in the future for sure ( he’s 26 by the way). All aboard the Torrey Craig bandwagon!

Trey lyles also had a great night racking up 15 points and nine rebounds while hitting 50% of his threes. Nikola Jokic grabbed nine boards while putting up 13 points and dishing out two assists. The players that really looked off tonight were Jamal Murray and Will Barton. Barton collected seven assists tonight but only scored six points going 2/15 from the field and 0/8 from the three. Thats pretty scary, but not as scary as Gary Harris’ fall. While attempting a dunk, Harris got bumped and hit the floor almost completely horizontal. He landed awkwardly on his tailbone causing his head to whip back and hit the court floor too. After his two free-throws he was expected to head to the bench, but he didn’t. In fact, he played 40 minutes tonight racking up 17 points, six assists, and three rebounds.
