Tonight the Denver Nuggets host the Brooklyn Nets for the first time this season. After a disappointing loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Nuggets are looking for a rebound to stay on top of the Western Conference with a win over the Nets.
Over the past few seasons the Nets have been at the bottom of the ranks, but this season they have shown signs of improvement. They have won their last two games in a row and sit at the ninth seed in the East with a record of 5-6. This will also be Kenneth Faried’s first return to the Pepsi Center since being traded during the offseason.
Faried should not be a concern for the Nuggets since he only logged 18 minutes this season so far with 10 points and eight rebounds total. The Nuggets’ main concern should be Jokic and his confidence to score.

Denver’s back court is Ol’ Reliable with Jamal Murray and Gary Harris always productive at the helm, but Jokic is the centerpiece of the offense. Last game he only took one shot, the game winning shot and missed. Paul Millsap also needs to pick up his slack on the offensive side of the ball. Lastly, Malone should insert Juancho Hernangomez into the started lineup in place of Torrey Craig. Craig is praised for his defense, but his offense is nowhere to be seen except for a few put-back layups. Juancho on the other hand has been shooting consistently and is better at the three.
Tonight’s game is a home game at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado and starts at 7pm MST.
